The South Wood County Historical Museum will be hosting the 2nd Annual Christmas Tree Walk. Please come and visit during the following hours:
Saturday, December 3rd from 12 noon until 4 p.m.
Sunday, December 4th from 12 noon until 4 p.m.
Friday, December 9th from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Saturday, December 10th from 12 noon until 4 p.m.
Another successful season has come to a close, we appreciate all who have stopped to tour and visit.

The 2016 Cranberry Blossom Festival Ice Cream social was another successful event. A lot of visitors, smiles and ice cream.

The 2016 season kicks off today, Sunday, May 29th at 1 p.m. We will be open until 4 p.m.
The Museum hours will then be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sundays from 1 – 4 until Labor Day weekend.

Event Saturday 12:30 – 4 p.m. Germany 1916: Art & War: Professor emeritus Richard Ruppel, UWSP Department Chairman Tobias Barske, and German historical and military expert Leon Schmidt, Jr., explore the relationship between art and war in Germany in this WWI centennial presentation. A display of WWI German posters and memorabilia accompany the panel discussion. After the discussion, enjoy coffee and strudel and meet our experts.

The Master Gardeners, a wonderful group of volunteers, who do so much for us, in keeping our grounds looking amazing ~ will be hosting a plant sale in the warming house at Witter Field, on Saturday, May 16th. They will be open from 9 a.m. until noon.
Please come out and help support these hard working individuals.
